Information for Completing a Posting
The respite requested/offered postings are used to assist us in the process of "matching" respite care providers and families together. The "matches" or referrals are based on the needs of the families and the interests of the care provider.
There are several factors that influence the likelihood of a successful match between a family and a care provider. These include:
- the care requirements of the child
- the location of the family
- the rate per hour
- the number of hours per week/month
- the schedule hours, and
- the general expectations of the family
In an effort to save time and energy we use the requested/offered postings to gather and display that information and to help families and care providers focus their search for a quality match.
To create a posting both families and care providers must first contact the Central Region Respite Society.
The links listed below provide a guide to the questions considered and possible choices/terms to be used while a posting is created for a "contract".
When families and care providers meet with CRRS, they select the options that best describe their needs and/or interests.
You can review and familiarize yourself with the options and terms used during the posting process as well as gain a better understanding of the differences among the existing postings currently on the Registry.
